Our Ethos 

The Founders

We know from first hand experience the challenges faced when deciding what to do after A-levels or IB. Especially now, in these uncertain times, knowing what next step is right for you has never been so confusing. Everyone has so many questions which simply cannot be answered by online research. This is the motivation behind our non-profit, to bridge the gap between your A-levels/IB and the next step in your education/career.

Daniel Aliwell (Founding Partner)

Daniel is a second year student reading a BA in Economics at Durham University. He studied Economics, History and Mathematics at A-level. He has a passion for finance and anything to do with economics and urges anyone considering this as a degree or career to reach out. 

Joshua Chapman (Founding Partner)

Joshua is a  second year student at Durham University reading a BA in Economics and Spanish. He completed his international Baccalaureate in 2019, with his higher subjects in Spanish, Economics and Global Politics. He is keen to advise anyone considering a combined honours study programme.

The consultants 



Seraiah Fernando: Law, Durham University - Year 2
Seraiah reads Law at Durham University. She studied Law, Business and Accounting at A-level. Seraiah received a commendation from Edexcel for achieving best in the world for her law A-level. Her life-long passion has been to pursue a legal career and is willing to be of assistance to anyone who wants to know more. 
Marcus Emery: Finance, Durham University - Year 2
Marcus undertook A-levels in Economics, Geology and Mathematics. Studying A-level Economics with his previous interest in stock markets has inspired him to study Finance as his degree along with a placement year with the intention to work as a stockbroker or investment banker as a future career.
Ben Moore: Mathematics, University of Exeter - Year 2
Ben has A-levels in Mathematics, Biology and Geography. He originally undertook a degree reading Geography at the University of Exeter but changed course to read Maths. He is well- equipped to discuss choosing the right degree programme and how to manage juggling top level university sport with academia.
Alex Day: Mathematics, Oxford University - Year 2
Alex has A-levels in Maths, Further Maths, physics and Computer Science. He is currently in his second year of an MMATH maths degree at Pembroke College, Oxford. He is eager to answer questions or offer advice to anyone planning to study maths or attend Oxford University, particularly from the perspective of a state school student.
Seb Berkeley: Mathematics, Durham University - Year 2
Seb did Maths, Further Maths and Physics for his A-levels, and Economics as an AS. Now he studies Maths at Durham, in his Second Year looking more at the applied side of the course. He absolutely loves it there and is thankful he put in all the work into his A-levels to get to where he is today.
Harry Mosley: Combined Physics and engineering, University of Birmingham - Year 2 
Harry studied Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry at A-level, going on to tutor students in all of these fields in his final year.  He is currently studying Nuclear Engineering - a combined Physics and Engineering degree - at Birmingham university, with a career in industrial management in mind.
Elena Liciu: Biological Sciences, Durham University - Year 2
Elena studied Biology, Chemistry and History at A-level. Initially she was interested in a career in medicine, and so has in-depth knowledge of the application process. However, after a gap year and deep consideration, she is now pursuing a research-based career in Biological Sciences. 
Dalvinder Judge: Dentistry, Kings College London - Year 2
Dalvinder reads Dentistry at Kings College London. He completed the International Baccalaureate with triple 7 in higher Biology, Chemistry and Economics. He would be happy to help anyone thinking of applying to study Dentistry.
Omar El Miedany: Computer Science,  University of Leeds - Year 2
Omar completed the International Baccalaureate with Computer Science, Politics and English at a higher level, achieving 40 points.  At Leeds, he has found Computer Science to be a highly rewarding and fascinating subject and ever more important as technology has become more and more integrated into modern life. The course at Leeds especially has a good balance between theoretical and practical elements giving you a well-rounded education in Computer Science.  
Caspar Peberdy - Gap year student

Caspar decided to take a gap year after A-levels because he was not sure about what he wanted to study. He learnt a lot about himself while travelling and working abroad, and found it worthwhile because he realised he wanted to do a degree in Oriental Studies, not Mechanical Engineering (his previous application). Speak to Caspar if you would like to know what you could make of your gap year.
Becky Foster: Geography, University of Cambridge - Year 2
Becky is currently in her 2nd year of studying Geography at Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge. She has A-levels in Geography, Government and Politics, Maths and Further Maths. She is happy to answer questions regarding applying to and studying at the University of Cambridge, or studying Geography (and closely related subjects such as Geology, Earth Sciences or Environmental Studies) at university.
Quadri Rahaman: Finance, University of Westminster - Year 2
Quadri is in his 2nd year at Westminster. He took Economics, English and History at A-level. He decided to take Finance at University, mainly because he loves learning about the economy and how people interact with money. He's especially passionate about his university degree because it enables him to understand real life economic examples that he knows will be highly useful when he starts his career. 
Phil Taylor - Royal Air Force
Phil studied Maths, Physics and Biology at A-level, going on to tutor students in Maths during the Upper Sixth. He is joining the RAF as an officer and will commence training at Royal Air Force College Cranwell this year. 
Alex Lyons: Medicine, Nottingham University - Year 2
Alex is studying Medicine at the University of Nottingham. He studied Chemistry, Biology and Maths at A-level. Whether your concern is A levels, the UCAT exam, course structure or university life in general, he can help!
Emily Baker: Physics, Durham University - Year 2
Emily is a second year physics student at Durham University. She studied Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Further Maths at A Level, tutoring younger students in Maths when in Upper Sixth. Emily is keen to answer any related questions you may have.
Alexander Buckingham Panayi: Politics, University of Exeter - Year 2

Alex is a second year student reading a BA in Politics at Exeter. This year he has changed course from his original study of PPE. He is happy to offer advice to anyone passionate about politics and any related disciplines.
Morksha: Law, Durham University - Year 2
Morksha is a second year student at Durham University. She did her A-Levels in French, Spanish and English Literature. She is studying Modern Languages and Cultures, specifically French and Spanish. 
Ahmed Zubier: Chemical Engineering,  Loughborough - Year 3
Ahmed is a Chemical Engineering industrial placement student in the oil & gas industry. He recently finished his third year at Loughborough University. He studied Economics, Chemistry, Maths and Physics at A-Level. He is happy to help and offer guidance/ advice for students interested in engineering and industrial placements.
