Student Advice Group
Student Advice Group

Don't know what to do after your A-levels or IB?

This non-profit initiative was set up to aid students like you in deciding what to do after your school studies have finished. We have hand-picked the best students to advise you on the next step of your academic career. Whether you want to reach out to someone studying at a top university or are curious about what it is like studying your favourite subject at degree level, we are here for you. We can provide tailored advice to help inform your decisions and UCAS statement feedback to help with the application process.

The Process

 1

Look through the students on our page and pick one from whom you would like to receive personally tailored advice. Then fill out the apply section at the bottom of the page.

2

We will pair you with your student of choice if they are available; failing that, we will pair you with an equally motivated individual with similar experience.

 3

We care about your future and we are asking you to show you care about all of our collective futures by making an optional donation to our charity The Institute of Economic Affairs. If this is financially viable for you, please see below.

Optional donation

The Institute of Economic Affairs

The Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA) is the self-described 'original' free-market think tank of the UK. Founded in 1955, the group's purpose is to analyse and promulgate understanding of the role of institutions in a free society and economy.

At the Student Advice Group, we are firm believers in the principles of liberty, equality and opportunity. As such, we have chosen the Institute of Economic Affairs as our designated charity. We believe that our service is in line with the fundamental philosophy of the IEA and so encourage you to make a small donation to their page, if at all possible.
